Hey all,
Our show scheduled for today in Lakeside with Brave Citizens has been canceled due to the thunderstorms and strong winds in Lakeside, AZ.

Brave Citizens will be playing tonight at Yucca Tap Room in Tempe instead. Please come out and enjoy them with us.

Lakesiders, we’ll be back soon.

Best,
Brian/KINCH

Here’s an article running on us and our limited edition shirts designed by Chris Bianco. There’s a great picture of Bianco accompanying the story. He’s standing with what appears to be a rosemary bow staff.

every so often, i get an email that runs basically like this: “dear andrew, there are only a finite number of hours to a day, and i want to spend them well. what should i be doing with my time?”sometimes that’s a question easier to answer than other times. this time, it’s the easiest. you should go here and listen to radiohead’s set from the santa barbara bowl a couple of weeks ago. in fact, you should just subscribe to the npr podcast that gives you full concerts all the time of bands that will make your skin shiny and new.and the host, bob boilen, is great. he really loves music — has a youthful wide-eyed-ness to his interviews and introductions that’s sort of infectious.radiohead and the santa barbara bowl have a special meaning for me. brian and i saw the band there when we were in high school with thomas and nora. it was one of the best experiences of my young life, and it even immortalized me in a way. you can download a bootleg of that concert (it was pretty widely disseminated) that has my idiot voice yodeling approval when radiohead launch into cinnamon girl by neil young during their encore.i was disappointed that i didn’t get to see radiohead on this tour, but the podcast helps.
